“La Casetta della Vigna” is a charming cottage, built in 1760 from stones from the local Aulella river and situated in a hamlet at the edge of the village of “Pallerone”, in the unspoilt rural area of Lunigiana in northern Tuscany. Located between the mountains and the coast, it takes only 45 minutes by car to the nearest ski resort of Cerreto and 25 minutes to the closest beaches at Lerici (which has a “Blue Flag” award, indicating clean water, pristine sands and a well-organised beach) and San Terenzo. It is also just 50 minutes by car from Pisa Airport.
Close to the side of a small lake and river, which is teeming with fish and attracts all kinds of wildlife, it provides opportunities to swim in the cool mountain water to the backdrop of the stunning Alpi Apuane.
There are four very good restaurants and 3 friendly bars in Pallerone, all of which are within walking distance (5-15 minutes).

Upstairs landing, providing twin-bedded accommodation, and exit to large front terrace. This is a magnificent sun-trap, providing beautiful views over the lake, river and mountains.
2 bathrooms, both with large shower cubicles, one en-suite with the upstairs double bedroom, from which you can enjoy views of the mountains whilst showering! The main bathroom is downstairs.
Main living area with dining table and chairs, sofa-bed (single) and kitchen area. If the evenings are chilly, there is a fireplace with free supply of logs. This also leads to the back terrace and downstairs bedroom.
Facilities include : central heating, washing machine, Hi-Speed WiFi, TV/video, satellite providing BBC1, BBC2 and ITV),DVD, CD player, hairdryers, iron and ironing board. All bed linen and towels are provided.
The large cellar with attractive vaulted ceiling provides a great location for the "mini games room". For your entertainment you will find table football, mini snooker/pool, mini ping pong and darts. For outside use, there are 4 bicycles, a croquet set, a small football goal, badminton and a paddling pool.
The large garden at the front of the cottage offers a very peaceful and tranquil atmosphere for relaxing during hot, sunny afternoons and is also a great place to barbecue.
